The Yes Men have used media to further their agenda to reveal corporations that they believe to be frauds. The Yes Men would not be able to reach a large audience with their improvised public scenes without the major newsbroadcasting reporters present to document and relay the information to the public. The two performers therefore must embrace the media as a necessary tool to magnify the significance of their actions.
The Yes Men basically pretend to be high level executive officers/VIPs for specific corporations and present in public venues, mock-scenes of remorse and condolences. Often times, The Yes Men are accepting responsibility on behalf of the company for actions that have severely affected people negatively. The Yes Men have used two TCS concepts; Critical Thinking and Critiquing or "Critical Critiquing"
