Jesse Drew lectured on the topic of the power of media to manipulate through images and words. He used the example of American knowledge about communism as a prime example of how information is construed and twisted so as to leave people blind to the other options left open to them. With his video, he highlighted how easy it is to control images to convey a certain message and "filter" that down to the lower levels of society and spoon feed it to them. Drew's main concern was "censorship", or the power to control information. With editing, he displayed this though his communist laden video, "Manifestoon".
